Find Links Your Website

The Google links: command operator has only ever shown a selection of links pointing to your site (you’re better off searching on Yahoo or MSN really) but Google has gone one better and shows all links to your pages whether from other websites (external links) or from your own site (internal links).

The new service is only available from the webmaster tools console so you need to sign up but this is a very powerful tool.

Google have blogged about it themselves at http://googlewebmastercentral.blogspot.com/2007/02/discover-your-links.html so you need to sign up for your own account.

What you’ll probably see is that most links go to your home page.

Study it well then start to get links to other pages on your site.
